It's been a big two weeks - my friends Brad and Tiffany visited here from the States for 10 days, and then my friend Courtney came for 4 days. I feel like the holiday is over and it's back to reality now. But I'm reliving the fun by posting about it! :)
Day 1, Brad and Tiff arrived early in the morning. We had breakfast and mooched around the house for a while, not wanting to throw them into the deep end of tourist-ness (yes, it's a word) on their first day of jet-lag. We did go for a quick drive up to Mt Coot-tha where I only took two photos. That's terrible I know.
The next day we took a train into the city. It was rainy and cold, but still good.
Mmmmm... I am so sugared out, let me tell you.

We had hours of fun with these teeth!
We played with Just Jeans' Butt-Cam! (Don't know why it won't let me embed...) and learned to play the didgeridoo (sort of).

Graham Pampling is a regular busker in Queen St Mall. He is blind and plays amazing saxophone.
...and way too much fun with this dinosaur!
A quick stop into the museum, again way too much fun with the dinosaurs, and then we headed home.
Days 3 & 4 coming soon! :)
aah the candy photos, yummy! It's nice to see a peak of Australia, is this Brisbane? When we have enough holidays and money, Australia will be definetly one of the countries to visit :)
ReplyDeleteThey were VERY yummy! :) Yes this is Brisbane, definitely let me know if you ever come over! :)
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I can't wait to see more pictures! These pictures made me want to run out to a candy store immediately! : )
ReplyDeleteMy brother (a worship pastor) plays the didgeridoo...I bought it for him about 4 years ago for Christmas. Let me tell you how hard it was to find one in Washington! : ) But he loved that thing!
That is so cool that your brother plays the didgeridoo! Does he play it in worship? THAT would be amazing!!! :)
