Changes

There's some changes going on in my blog - it's a little brighter, a little fresher. I change my mind like I change my clothes, so a big thank you to my designer Sarah for her patience :) and her beautiful work!

I photographed a beautiful elopement last weekend that I can't wait to post, but, since there is not much to share at the moment, here are some photos of my mini road trip last weekend.

Mt Mee tourist drive is one of the prettiest I have ever seen. This panorama is from the lookout at Mt Mee, and those are the Glasshouse Mountains in the distance.

A close(r)-up...

The views were so spectacular, but I don't think photos do them justice, so I didn't take many.

For this one I actually stood on the guardrail on the side of the road to get it! I was so proud of myself! And so lucky that no cars drove past and saw me doing it! :)

And these little guys were at my destination. Too cute :) I love miniature horses!

It's been a while...

...since I've made some jewellery. This is my latest.

This post by one of my favourite photographers (who just happens to be one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the world) makes me feel a little bit better about this not seeming like bridal jewellery. :) (The book could maybe be a little more romantic I know...)

abbiefaye on etsy made the little book. I have all the Chronicles of Narnia, Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, and some Greek classics. They are just too cute :)

Hope you like!

I just love the colours in this. :)

Alana and Rohan - Wedding

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing a sweet, intimate backyard wedding for Alana and Rohan. It was such a lovely, laid back day with just family sharing the celebration.

Here are my favourites from the day - I hope you like them! :)

The bride (who not only was looking forward to walking down the aisle, but her new baby girl was due just three days later!) ...

This is Alana and Rohan's gorgeous daughter Jersey. Isn't she a cutie!?
The bridal party of niece and nephews :)
The groom and his brothers ...
This is one of my favourite shots ...
Love the emotion ...
I love the tradition of pouring sand into a vessel, and thought it was especially lovely that Jersey had her own coloured sand to pour in as well :)
Pretty bling :) ...
Married! ...
The reception took place in their bar room, with all the decor and favours made by Alana.
Yummy cupcake wedding cake! :D
Rohan's cufflinks ...

Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day! :)
And I couldn't resist this gorgeous face :)
Enjoy! :)
