Road-tripping

In my dreams I would go on one road trip a week. I would do it, but money is an issue and I just don't like going places by myself.

This past week was amazing because I got to go on TWO road trips with friends!
The first was for a portrait session with friends of mine who blessed me so much with the whole day of adventures, pick-your-own fruit, and GOOD food :) We went to Stanthorpe, the place of my birth, and near where my friend grew up. There is so much to do and see around there, we had to narrow it down to try fit as much as possible in.
We started off picking our own apples...
Then headed off to the park for some photos (which are coming soon)...
And then to this A-M-A-Z-I-N-G restaurant with an incredible view. The owners live on the top floor! How lucky!
After some ice-cream we picked our own strawberries and headed home as the sun set.
We followed this car for a WHILE before the hand actually moved! It looked like they were transporting a dead body! :)
The next trip was with two more friends, one of whom had a photography assignment for uni that we were helping her with - using the camera and modelling! Yikes! I'm not used to being in front of a camera, but it was a lot of fun :)
Between the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane are pine plantations that, since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to get lost in. The perfect rows of giant trees are just so beautiful, so when my friend suggested it for a location I was hooked!
We found a little clearing and set up a picnic before we took photos. We were hot and sweaty and dirty, and were constantly attacked by mosquitoes (you should see how bitten I am!) and giant flies, but it was SO MUCH FUN! :)
Mt Beerwah:
If you ever need a road-trip buddy, I'm your girl! I will bring my camera, and chances are I will ask you to model a bit for me! :)
