NORTHWEST COMMUNITY CHURCH

Northwest Community Church meets at a school tuckshop on my street. My parents have been going there for a while, and towards the end of last year I was asked to come along and take some promotional photos for them. I love observing with photography; being a fly-on-the-wall, pretending like I'm not there.

I like seeing church happening outside of four walls. There are no pews, there is no pulpit. This might be a subject for another blog post, but, for me, church is more than a Sunday service, more than a building, more than a denomination. It doesn't need to have structure. It was nice to spend the morning seeing a type of church some people aren't used to seeing.

Cassie - Graduation

A week or so ago I had the pleasure of photographing my friend's (Nikki's) niece Cassie before her school formal in Bundaberg. Nikki was the main photographer, but she let me tag along and take my own snaps (thank you! :D). Here are my favourites, I hope you like them!

We were blessed with gorgeous GORGEOUS light that afternoon. And isn't Cassie a doll? :)

I love to shoot candid and natural. I love these next 2 shots, because they weren't "meant" for me, if you know what I mean :)
I couldn't decide between these next three, so I chose them all! :)
And where would such a beautiful graduate be without a couple of escorts? Meet Morgan and Beau, her studly dates! :)
Thanks guys for letting me take your photos! I hope you had a wonderful evening! :)

Nitro Youth Group Op Shop Formal

As their end-of-year break up, the youth group at my church had an "op-shop" formal. Some of the finds were incredible! Here are a few of my favourites. Enjoy!

I don't know what Wayne Cooper would have thought of his dress ending up in an op-shop, but luckily for him, this one didn't...Stevie just cheated on the theme :)
